Tentrr State Parks - Peaks Kenny State Park

Disappointing

  : Park staff are great. Pretty park.
  : Earlier reviews accurate. Site is off by itself on road to RV dumping station. No privacy from road. Makes it quieter but isolated for solo campers. Long walk through woods to bathrooms. This would be a good site to have TENTRR Loo. Tent skirting not installed properly so mosquito netting on doors and windows pointless. Bed didn’t look clean and some TENTRR items not there. Left after a few hours because it looked like it was going to be an uncomfortable night in an unappealing location. Also had issues with TENTRR reservations at another park. So the whole TENTRR experience was disappointing and expensive and all for naught.

  : Interesting for whom does not carry all camp item. The park itself was nice.
  : The tent was not really mosquito proof. There are net for the front entrance and windows but all bottom 4 corners had a gap and small insect can come in. We had a small tent 25 yeas age which was better sealed than this one. The air mattress was leaky so the staff exchange it and tried to blow it but didn’t get farm enough. We’ve got a lot of messages before arriving from Tentrr and there was about toilet but we didn’t have one. The park staff told us they don’t use it and we should go to the park toilet. Our tent located outside of park camping site and I had to drive to or walk long to get toilet. Our camp was set very private but lonely. The information of bathroom (toilet and shower) in the campsite should be included with pictures. Tentrr send me the last message how we should clean and so on but I didn’t get it on time because my phone had zero reception in the park. The concept of the organization is nice but not working in the individual site.
