There is also a private beach access. Each guest room at Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach features a private balcony or terrace, premium down duvets, and a 50-inch LCD television. Additionally, there is a luxurious private bathroom with marble tiled over-sized bathtub and separate shower. At 33°North, guests can dine on the oceanfront. The restaurant serves natural and organic sea food, poultry, and produce sourced locally.

The Monarch Beach Kids Club features a children's programme and on-site babysitting. This resort is located 51 miles (80 kilometres) from Los Angeles International Airport and 30 minutes from John Wayne Airport. Mission San Juan Capistrano is located approximately ten minutes from the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach.
