  : the views and the location was great.
  : The lock box code did not work...had to call and they changed the code however it still didn't open the primary lock but it did work for the secondary. Fortunately we were finally able to open the primary lock box 1 day before we left as we were looking for the key so we could empty the trash. That is something else that we have NEVER, EVER had to do at any other Airbnb. There was a cracked window that should have been fixed and one of the lights in the bathroom didn't work so taking a shower was dark. I did call and was told someone would be over to fix the light. well that NEVER happened.

  : Loved the charm of the old farmhouse, and the location. Plenty of extras included to enhance our enjoyment-canoe, life vests, float, extra chairs, although we had to find out about them through our neighbors. Lovely water views! Complimentary shampoo, conditioner & soap to get guests through the first day was a nice touch! Extra paper towels, plenty of dishwasher detergent, dish soap, hand soap and laundry detergent.
  : VACASA!! Difficult getting the key out of the lockbox - older type that should be updated. Upon initial walk-thru, noticed a few items needing attention & immediately texted our contact number, no response. It took 2 add'l calls to Vacasa over the next 2 days to finally receive a response on the now 3rd day of our 1 week stay. Maintenance person was sent, but was immediately sent away by his Mgr Lisa as she had '15 other jobs waiting for him, and our noted items were "functional."' Spoke with her to find out why nothing being done. Did get frustrated & heated (again 3RD day of stay), so she hung up on me. I was beyond livid. The key issue was the front door (old) was swollen due to humidity & my husband was the ONLY one in the home able to muscle the door open, which we considered an extreme safety hazard, especially in a fire. The back door only had a deadbolt, but we weren't given the key, forcing us to enter & leave thru the stuck front door. Upstairs sink, servicing 6 people, was extremely slow draining. Second maintenance man arrived the 4th day, thanks to Tanya (Lisa's Mgr), & snaked the drain. The amount of hair that came out, in 2 separate clogs, was horrifying! Clearly a lack of maintenance. When Housekeeping cleans a sink that doesn't drain properly, it should IMMEDIATELY be reported to Mgmt & fixed! Spiderwebs with dead flies in almost every corner of back sitting room & a broken bed. Again, poor cleaning/maintenance. Front hall light was out, and never replaced while we were there. The unit is listed for 10 people, Our first dinner, we found only 6 forks in the unit - 3 salad/3 dinner. The remaining 4 people ate dinner with spoons, The next day, off to Walmart to purchase plastic silverware so we could eat with proper utensils. I don't rent a home to eat with plastic! A/C upstairs minimal, so bought Walmart fans-Game changer!
