  : Unbearably squeaky floors, sounds like they aren't even fastened down. Horribly bent out master bedroom mattress, horrible night's sleep every night, it literally felt like you were rolling off the side of the bed bc the hump in the middle is so huge. There's an apartment downstairs in the house that is not mentioned at all in the listing. If it had been listed I NEVER would have rented this place. EVER. I NEVER book shared units bc I have 3 little girls and I don't trust this type of shared living arrangement. The outside porch light to this unit was on the entire time we were there. We didn't know if other people would be showing up at some point or what was going on, so it was incredibly stressful the whole time AND the CONSTANT glaring porch light ruined every bit of ambiance we expected to have while sitting on the back porch since the glare of the light ruined the night sky star view. The coffee pot and teapot were both moldy, like green moldy and smelly. And lastly, there was ZERO information in the listing about the drive up to the house. It is an unpaved, one-lane, overgrown, gravel road, up the side of a mountain. If you arent used to driving these kinds of roads a little warning is certainly helpful, let alone a cautionary warning NOT to drive up in a rainstorm. We did not get this warning and happened to arrive in the middle of a ginormous rainstorm. To say it was terrifying is a complete understatement. I can't believe I paid what I paid to stay here for as long as I did with all the hassles and troubles. So unbelievably disappointed. Never again
