  : It was the perfect location. Not surrounded by traffic, in a small neighborhood but only 10 minute drive from all major attractions!

  : Disliked EVERY THING about this place... so much so that this is literally the only time I've ever left a place I've booked due to cleanliness and safety, all while not being guaranteed a refund. Which we still havent gotten due to the owner, btw. But here is a start: Rodent feces everywhere, there's an odor as soon as you open the door due to what I am assuming is mold, roaches both dead and alive all about, film or residue or dust on everything, hairs in the bathroom, 1980s linens with stains, creepy notes from a previous guest about their terrible experience and issues with privacy and locks, the fact that it was supposed to be a single residence but has a Texas chainsaw massacre style boarded up door connecting you to mystery tenants... What else? The furniture. Yes. The pull out couch had a sad appearance from the outset, but I thought I'd give it the benefit of the doubt as I rationalized staying or leaving. Then we found the red brown stains, the extra grit and grime and whatever the heck else those clumps were... when you flip it back? Springs stabbing forth. The upstairs bed dips so far that it makes a V. Dont get too comfortable or you'll do like we did and find someone else's socks. We did not sleep. We left the next morning as soon as we secured new lodging. DO NOT STAY HERE. If you have any sense, spend your money at the sticky floored Howard Johnson down the hill. They accept pets too and that place might have been cleaner and likely more updated and comfortable than this one.

  : Location: Close to Lookout Mountain and easy access to 24.Style: Quaint, true log cabin, and all that includes.Price: For the size, it was good.
  : The loft: Very narrow, steep stairs, which makes getting to the bathroom in the night a bit treacherous. It also took awhile to cool down. And the bed was bearable only for one night for two people.Cleanliness: It must be hard to dust so much raw wood, but still… No dishwasher and leaving the cleaning of dishes to the last guest means the dishes need to be washed again before using. It also means that roaches are likely to find the less than clean dishes, and we did see one. Also there was a washcloth left in the shower with pubic hair on it. :(
