  : This listing shows a mix of photos from two different units within the same building. The photos you see are not what you actually get. He shows photos of like 3-4 different beds, none of which actually exist in the unit we stayed in, and the one is propped to look like its a normal queen bed when in reality it's two twins pushed together. He also has taken two twin beds, pushed them together, clamped them actually - underneath (see photos - one is a ss from his listing showing a "queen bed" and then you can see what it really is), and then lists this as a "queen bed" in the listing, which is a complete lie, and is an extremely uncomfortable way to sleep with a partner. The first-floor apartment is also wildly unsecured, we had to ask him to come down and secure a door that led directly to the public hallway, which was completely unlocked and anyone could have just come in and accessed our stuff, and he acted like I was crazy for finding this unsettling.

  : We stayed at the Deluxe Suite and we absolutely loved the beautiful period features of the house! Everything was decorated with so great taste and special pieces of art. There was a fully equipped kitchen, a very nice and clean bathroom and a beautiful large living room. We appreciated that we were able to sleep in "separate" rooms, as a glass door between kitchen/dining area and living room could be closed. In no New York hotel room would you ever have this much space at this price! Beds were very comfortable.The area in which the Brownstone Loft is located is full of tree-lined streets with rows and rows of the prettiest historic houses. And indeed we found this on wikipedia: "Bedford–Stuyvesant has the largest collection of intact and largely untouched Victorian architecture in the United States, with roughly 8,800 buildings built before 1900. Its building stock includes many historic brownstones."It was perfect to stay in Brooklyn and this particular district, Bed-Stuy, as Manhattan could be reached easily in 40min with the C train (including walking at both ends). We loved the flair of Bed-Stuy and the restaurants in walking distance were fantastic and so was "Miss Bagel" (a bagel shop). The area had so much neighbourhood flair and was really happening.We also had a chance to spend some time talking to the hosts, who were genuinely friendly and interesting people.
  : The flat has no air-conditioning (this was clear as no a/c is mentioned in the description), instead it had good ceiling fans. Nevertheless during the hottest and most humid time of the year, it is a bit hard in New York to sleep without a/c.The accommodation is not suited for people with light sleep who require absolute silence during the night. It is an happening area and you might hear people play music in the evenings, or you might hear people upstairs walk around in the flat. Occasionally you hear airplanes approaching the airport. Maybe this is less of an issue during colder times of the year when the windows can be closed.The area is very cool and we felt safe. The only area we did not love was a short stretch on Fulton Street when coming out of the C train Kingston-Throop subway station at night. But we figured out that turning quickly into Throop Avenue was a good solution and once we had figured this out all was fine.

  : I like interior and design of the whole house. Very comfortable appartment with good beds and everything what You may need in bathroom or kitchen. Hosts are So friendly and helpful. The Street is clean.

  : Perfect location and close to the C train. Great walkable neighborhood near a myriad of different restaurants and coffee shops/bakeries. The loft was cozy and felt like home. Loved the personal touches of artwork and decor.
