Boston North Station is located at the intersection of Causeway Street and North Station Road in the city of Boston, Massachusetts. It is one of the busiest transportation hubs in New England, serving as a terminus for both Amtrak and MBTA Commuter Rail trains, as well as a connecting point for MBTA subway and bus lines. The station is also adjacent to TD Garden, home of the Boston Bruins and Celtics.

With an average of over 30,000 passengers per day, Boston North Station is the busiest train station in Massachusetts. It is used by Amtrak for its Northeast Regional and Acela Express services, as well as by MBTA Commuter Rail for its regional service. The station is also served by MBTA subway lines 4, 5, and 6, as well as multiple bus routes.

The first train station on the site was built in 1842 by the Boston and Maine Railroad. The current station building was constructed in 1955, and has since undergone several renovations. In 2014, a major renovation project was completed that included new retail space and passenger amenities.
