  : The check in staff was accommodating for check ins. We also had a great view of the city.
  : * Cleanliness of the hotel and the sources of ice is a major concern. I bought two drinks at the bar, obtained ice from two different hotel floors, and obtained ice on different days of the week. Each time, there was black substances in my ice. I bought a drink for my partner and he didn’t even drink it due to the black matter at the bottom of the glass. Additionally, the first time I got ice from my floor, there was also orange plastic mixed between the ice.* The cleanliness of the shared microwave on the 1st floor was also a concern. It’s one thing to not have a microwave in your room, it’s another thing for the only microwave for the guest to have flies in it. Not to mention, the uncleanliness of the microwave overall.* Safety concern—— my partner and I were sitting in the dark, by the pool until around 10:15 p.m. By that time, they finally turned on the lights. However, they also informed us they were closing down the pool as well. Felt as though they valued the property more than the safety of guests sitting in the dark by an open area of water.* Personal opinion: lack of complimentary breakfast and shuttle services to airport. The initial rate of the room (before booking.com) was expensive. Cheaper, cleaner hotels would have charged less for a room and would have included complimentary breakfast. Personally, after finding multiple instances of contamination of ice sources in the hotel, I realized it was best to out-source for meals everyday. Complimentary breakfast would be a great idea once the cleanliness of the hotel is addressed.* Other dislikes: Dead bug stuck in the bathroom ceiling since the day I arrived and visible water damage in the room. The ceiling had patches of discoloration which were covered over with new layers of paint. The carpet near the window was also mushy and uneven—— signifying potential water damage.—-Ultimately, we were uncomfortable and disappointed with our stay. We love Marriott hotels and expected a better stay.

  : The room and the entire hotel were neglected, the air conditioning was old and made a lot of noise and kept turning off, you can hear everything in the rooms
