: I would not stay here again. The location in proximity to the highway was good. The city of Asheville has a very large population of homeless people now. So even though the hotel is close to downtown, I was not comfortable walking to the restaurant with my 8 year old son. He was scared when we approached for money.
: Where should I start? There were half-dressed homeless people digging in the trash at the front door when we arrived. The hotel made no mention of the pool being out of service prior to arrival; this was one reason we selected the property. The hallways were dark and dingy. The room smelled like smoke and mildew. My son and I both got stuffy sinuses in the hotel that immediately went away when we left the property, and neither of us have allergies. The drain in the shower didn’t work properly. The rooms were really outdated with cracked and broken tiles in the bathroom. It was not the cleanest place and I would not recommend staying here. I have stayed in a lot of hotels, am fairly tolerant and have never left a negative hotel review. This one was earned.

: The location was good. The staff was nice. The breakfast was very nice.
: There were no plugs on one side of the bed making it very hard to charge my phone. The fan was on high most of the time no matter the setting. The alarm clock went off at 6 every morning. There was t a secure network to do my work. When my room wasn’t cleaned on the 2nd day I called and asked why. The manager said that they o oy clean rooms every other day. I told her I had never heard of that and she said she would ‘upgrade’ me to daily cleaning. When we checked in the front desk person ‘upgraded’ us to a higher floor with a city view. See attached picture of our view. The pool was closed abd I had to reI d them that we had breakfast included. I was not happy with our stay at all.
