Rustic Anchorage Hideaway Minutes from Trails

  : The building is very close to a bike path that runs for eleven miles along the beautiful Anchorage shoreline. Bike rentals are available about a 2 minute walk away. The unit itself is warm (if you need it to be) and comfortable. It has one bedroom and what looked like a sleeper sofa. The bathroom is very nice. It was perfect for a couple but probably not suitable for a larger number. Parking is seems to be a problem in the city but the building has private parking for two or three cars.
  : The security of the unit could be better. The kitchen was nice but there was a strange mix of equipment - about 20 pans and an Instant Pot but no kettle (crucial for English people who drink tea), lots of chef's knives but no dessert spoons. This is not a big deal but discarding most of it and replacing with a smaller selection of better items wold be an upgrade.

  : It felt like being in a mountain cabin but right next to downtown. Close to everything. We were able to walk to the train station. Kitchen and laundry was great.
  : All was just as advertised. Perfect for our stay.

  : sofa bed has room for improvement. there is a step between the living room/kitchen area and the bedroom that is an easy trip spot
