Discover The Best Things To Do in NYC

The city of New York. It's one of the most well-liked travel destinations in the US and one of the tourists' favorite cities in the entire globe. There is a reason it is known as the "city that never sleeps" because it is vast and thrilling. It offers something for everyone, including a variety of inexpensive activities for tourists trying to stretch their trip budgets. There are numerous hotels to select from if you want to stay there. One such hotel is the Ace Hotel New York, which offers the greatest amenities and services and is close to many tourist sites. There are the top things to see and do in New York City regardless of your budget out of the thousands of restaurants, hundreds of museums, attractions, shows, and eccentric things to do that this city is home to! They'll impart to you the city's spirit, know them all below!

Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty

The Statue of Liberty is a huge neoclassical sculpture that France gave to the United States. Its height is 305 feet, and it was consecrated in 1886. (95m). Sculptor Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi of France created it, but Gustave Eiffel built the metal structure of the statue of liberty.  Here, you may discover more about immigration and discover the people who helped to shape New York City. You can't help but be amazed at how wonderfully the history has been kept there.

Downtown Park

Spending the day at Central Park is the ideal way to unwind in the city and escape the throng. There are plenty of walking (or running) pathways, bike lanes, lakes where you can boat, and a zoo. It's also free. As the park covers 840 acres or more than 150 square blocks, it is simple to lose hours strolling about. There are frequently free performances of theatre and concerts throughout the summer (line up early for tickets to Shakespeare in the Park).

On Wall Street

Capture a picture in front of the well-known Charging Bull statue (made of bronze and installed in 1989), even though there isn't much to see here (the Museum of American Finance is now closed), it is still a famous location in the city and is worthwhile seeing, even for a short time.

Power Park

To protect their fledgling town, the Dutch erected Fort Amsterdam in this park, which is situated near the Ace Hotel New York on Manhattan's southernmost point, in 1625. In 1664, the British overran the region and gave it the new name of Fort George. The American Revolution mostly damaged the fort, but it was enlarged after the war's end to protect the city. You may stroll around the neighborhood park after exploring the fort and enjoy the stunning waterfront views of the harbor, the Statue of Liberty, and Ellis Island.

The Guggenheim Collection

A notable collection of postimpressionist, impressionist, early modern, and contemporary art can be found at this museum. The Frank Lloyd Wright-designed cylindrical museum is regarded as one of the most significant architectural creations of the 20th century. It is one of the city's most beloved structures (and museums).

Stonefeller Center

The activity in this region is constantly high. Visit the location where The Today Show is filmed at Rockefeller Center, shop, eat, and take the elevator to the "Top of the Rock" for another vantage point of the city. Since you can get the Empire State Skyscraper in your photo from the top of this building, in my opinion, this perspective is superior to it.

New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art

The Met is one of the greatest museums in the world. It includes a wide range of artistic creations, historical artifacts, pictures, and other exhibits. I like its large Impressionist and Greek exhibitions. It's packed and chaotic even on the weekends, but since it's so big, visitors can usually find some quiet spaces far from the crowds. Give at least a half-day because spending only a few hours here will not do this area justice.

United States National Museum

This museum, which was made even more well-known by the Night at the Museum films, takes a lot of time to see. Don't forget to go to the Hayden Planetarium's space exhibit, which is directed by science master Neil DeGrasse Tyson. They feature incredibly thorough exhibits on the universe's beginning.

We would recommend you book your stay at the Ace Hotel NY if you wish to stay close to the top attractions of the city.
