Miami is a wonderful place to visit, with loads of beaches and places to go partying. Have you ever been to a football game at the Hard Rock Stadium? It is pretty much like all other stadiums, but what makes it really special is that it always looks and feels different. If you are thinking about staying in the area when you come, you might want to make your reservations at one of the hotels near Hard Rock Stadium Miami. With all this great weather, there are tons of events going on in the stadium almost every day!

Hard Rock Stadium Miami

The Hard Rock Stadium Miami is located in the greater woulda of Miami. It's home to the Miami Dolphins and other sporting events, concerts, and festivals all year round. In previous years you might have been able to catch a concert by Lady Gaga or Bon Jovi at this location. Right now, it is currently hosting an NFL football game between the Miami Dolphins and the New York Jets.

Since it is hard to get tickets to this game, you might want to stay nearby where you can watch all of the action for yourself! There are several hotels located within close proximity of Hard Rock Stadium, so you don't have to miss any of the excitement. If you aren't into gambling, you might want to try the B Ocean Resort and Spa. It is a luxury resort that serves as a great place to stay if you want all of the amenities offered by this hotel.

The Hard Rock Stadium is home to the NFL's Miami Dolphins, Super Bowl Liv and Orange Bowl, and the Miami Hurricanes football team.

It is also a concert venue that hosts many famous artists throughout the year, such as Kenny Chesney, Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake, and Beyonce. When not hosting sports or concerts, this building can be transformed into a natural grass playing field for other events such as baseball games and soccer matches.

The Hard Rock Stadium was originally named Joe Robbie Stadium when it opened up on April 16th, 1987 with a football game between the University of Miami and East Carolina University. Over time, it has been renovated to include more seating areas for fans, also hosted by the stadium in 2020. It's also home to concerts, international soccer games, high school football championships, religious services, community events, and college & pro sports camps.

The future of sports venues has arrived at Hard Rock Stadium. Entering its 20th year since its 1997 expansion and renovation, the home of the Miami Dolphins has more than $500 million in recent upgrades and renovations to enhance the fan experience while keeping it one of the top NFL venues.

Hard Rock Stadium became home to major international soccer games with a successful debut hosting Copa America in 2016, with a return visit from the four-time world champion Argentina national team and its star player Lionel Messi in June 2017.

The Miami Open tennis tournament relocated to Hard Rock Stadium in 2019, bringing one of the most popular professional sports tournaments ever held in South Florida to the Dolphins' home turf. The three-week event annually attracts more than 400,000 fans, along with a worldwide television audience.

The stadium's works of art collection were expanded in the past year as well, with two new pieces unveiled at the stadium. "Gridiron Gold" by world-renowned pop artist Romero Britto and "Homer" by Miami artists Carlos Cruz-Diez and Jesús.
